As well as our interest in airshows & aircraft we have a joint interest, but I admit mainly mine, of armour & tanks as I also build model kits of them & we go to museums to take photo's for reference. My wife's intrest is in the way women lived & worked during the war & of the air & ground the iumia
We have travelled down to the Bovington museum, the I.W.M. on occassions when we can get down to London & visit the land warfair hall at R.A.F. Duxford, but web are still to go to the "I.W.M. of the North" that has opened nearer to us.
I have finished building a 1/15 scale model of a German assault gun the "Sturmgeschutz IV", a 1/16 King Tiger with Porsche turret & a 1/15 scale "Tiger I". I will be starting a 1/35 scale Leopold rail gun soon
